We met up at a coffee shop, totally unaware of how perfect of a match we would be. Alexa and Ryan are one of those couples you can only dream to work with.
Sweet, humble, and giggly–that’s Alexa.
Calm, gentle, and humorous–that’s Ryan.
Their wedding day in New Orleans just happened to be one of the busier days of the year. Two local football rivalries playing in the Big Easy. Traffic, y’all. Traffic that makes you want to scream. Because of that, our original plan to all go to the Audubon Zoo failed. It would have taken way too long and caused way too much stress. With a little bit of assurance, Alexa let me take control of the first look spot. That permission brought such relief. I’m fully confident in my ability to make not so pleasing, out of your control situations as forgettable and peaceful as possible. That’s not my job, but I have taken it on as my job. I didn’t tell her this before she booked me. I didn’t make a list of why I’m worth it and all of the side things that I would do on her day. She just trusted me.
You probably remember these two from their month after shoot I posted a while back. I think it’s safe to say I’m kind of obsessed with them. It’s like they just walked out of the perfect genetic pool and waltzed into my life. Yes ma’am, I’ll take it. We had so much fun with their after session because there was not a single worry about her custom Mark Zunino gown. Wanna know something funny? She was on Say Yes to the Dress, but she’d be the last one to let you know. So I’ll let you know, world.
I had a wonderful team by my side as well. Renee Hall and her crew with the most amazing planning ever and Calvin with his baller second shooting.
