“The friend who can be silent with us in a moment of despair or confusion,
who can stay with us in an hour of grief and bereavement, who can tolerate not knowing…
not healing, not curing… that is a friend who cares.” -Henri Nouwen
This one is special to me. She is a sister much deeper than blood. She is knitted to my soul.
This one loves hard. She feels even harder. When I cry, she cries. Even when I don’t cry, she cries. That’s something I love about her. Her heart for the world is indescribable. She hears the Lord so clearly, I sometimes think she is talking about a conversation between her and a dear friend. The care she puts into her friendships are something to look up to. I always looked forward to finding cards from my Becs when we lived under the same roof. Cards written to me just because she loves me. One post doesn’t justify the love I have for my soul sister. Blessed beyond blessed to have her in my life.
